BAM Construction used FARO laser-scanning hardware and BuildIT Construction software to verify dimensional compliance before pool tiles were fitted.

Upon opening in 2019, the Dover District Leisure Centre was planned with a competition-standard eight-lane swimming pool, where build accuracy was paramount.

Laser scanning provided a detailed digital check of the concrete pool tank before tiling began, helping the team confirm that construction remained within strict dimensional tolerances — while remediation was still inexpensive.
